The seat occupancy mat is defective and the airbag indicator light is on?
The device simulates a permanently occupied front passenger seat for the airbag control unit. This means that the front passenger airbag is triggered in EVERY CASE in the event of a crash, even if nobody is sitting in the seat.
This module can also be fitted after seat conversions, such as sports seats from Recaro, König or Sparco, which have no seat occupancy

BECAUSE THE PASSENGER AIRBAG ALWAYS RELEASES IN THE EVENT OF A COLLISION, DO NOT INSTALL A CHILD SEAT IN THE DRIVING DIRECTION ON A SEAT WITH A SIMULATOR AND WITHOUT A DISCONNECTABLE PASSENGER AIRBAG.
