What does error code 32100 indicate in the airbag control unit?
Error code 32100 points to crash data stored in the airbag control unit. After an accident or collision, the control unit electronically locks itself to prevent unintended secondary deployment. This condition results in deactivation of the entire airbag system and is indicated by the airbag warning light remaining steadily illuminated on the dashboard.
Technically speaking, this is a safety measure. The control unit—such as the specific part number 32100 found in a Bentley Mulsanne—switches into a locked mode after storing crash data.
