The system is in a safety-critical state, making immediate diagnosis and repair essential.
Technically speaking, code B0135 signifies that the airbag control unit’s self-diagnostic system has detected an irregularity that compromises the proper functioning of the restraint system. This can range from damaged sensor wiring to an internal board-level failure, possibly caused by moisture or short circuits.
