Error code B01453 indicates a specific, internal electronic fault in the airbag control unit (SRS ECU). This code points to a serious malfunction of the internal circuitry, a defective memory chip, or a faulty ground connection. Typically, the error is permanent, the airbag warning light remains illuminated, and the system is deactivated for safety reasons.
Technically speaking, B01453 signals a hardware issue on the control unit’s circuit board. This means that an electronic component—such as a memory chip, capacitor, or resistor—is no longer functioning correctly.
