What does error code B2001 indicate in the airbag control unit?

The control unit detects an anomaly in its own circuits or connected components and deactivates the airbag system as a safety precaution.
From an electronic standpoint, this means the control unit’s self-diagnostic system has identified a malfunction. The module can no longer guarantee the proper functioning of the airbags and seatbelt pretensioners and switches to a safe, passive mode, which is indicated by the airbag warning light.

How do you recognize error B2001?
