The airbag control unit detects an irregularity in the system, stores the error, and activates the warning light on the instrument panel to alert the driver.
Technically speaking, this code signals that the control unit is receiving an invalid or interrupted signal from one of the connected sensors or actuators. This could be, for example, a contact problem under a seat or a defective sensor, which compromises the integrity of the entire safety system.
