What does error code P3107-213 mean?
Error code P3107-213 indicates a critical loss of communication between the airbag control unit and the CAN bus. Specifically, in the Toyota Prius c, this means that the Power Management Control ECU cannot establish or maintain a stable connection with the airbag system control unit. The cause is usually a physical interruption, such as a short circuit or a faulty wire.
Technically speaking, this is a “timeout” error, meaning the expected data signal from the airbag control unit is missing. This communication typically occurs between the instrument panel (IPC) and the airbag control unit and is essential for continuously monitoring the safety system.

How do you recognize error P3107-213?
