Technically speaking, U0019 belongs to the ‘U‑codes’ (Network Communication Codes), which identify issues on the CAN‑bus (Controller Area Network). This data bus serves as the central information highway connecting all major electronic modules in the vehicle. If communication breaks down, the airbag control unit can no longer perform its intended function.
