What does error code U1190 indicate in the airbag control unit?
Error code U1190 is a specific U-code that points to a communication fault within the airbag system’s CAN bus network. It occurs specifically on the Mitsubishi Town Box U62W and typically signals an underlying internal hardware or software defect in the control unit itself, often triggered by stored crash data.
According to the OBD2 standard, U-codes fall under the category of network faults, indicating disruptions in the vehicle’s internal communication.
