Error code U3003 indicates that the battery voltage of the airbag control unit is outside the specified nominal range. This means the supply voltage is either too high or too low, leading to a critical malfunction of the safety system and activating the airbag warning light.

Technically, the control unit detects an undervoltage or overvoltage condition that prevents safe operation of the airbag components. For safety reasons, the system shuts down and stores this error code to signal an unstable power supply.
