12-month warranty on every airbag control unit repair
We offer 12 months warranty on every repair: if a defect appears in the repaired component within this period, we repair at no cost, replace the defective component, or issue a credit note.
What the warranty covers
If a defect appears in the repaired component within 12 months, Airbag24 decides between three options — tailored to each individual case.
- RepairWe fix the defect in the repaired component again, at no additional cost to you.
- Component replacementIf the defect cannot be fixed by repair, we replace the defective component.
- Credit noteIf that is not possible, you receive a credit note for the repair service.
Only if a repair fails twice are a reduction or termination of the repair contract considered. The warranty expires if the sealed housing of the repaired component is opened (seal break) or if the device is modified by third parties.
The statutory limitation period for warranty claims is 2 years from the date of invoice — this is the statutory framework, not the 12-month warranty period we advertise. Both statements are not contradictory, but describe two different things.
