The airbag control unit with part number 95910-B1800 is the central control and monitoring unit for the entire SRS restraint system in the Hyundai Genesis BH (2008–2013). It processes signals from crash sensors and is responsible for precisely and promptly deploying the front, side, and window airbags as well as the seatbelt pretensioners in the event of a collision.
As a core component of passive vehicle safety, this module continuously collects data from acceleration and pressure sensors distributed throughout the vehicle. Based on this information, it assesses the severity of an impact and decides within milliseconds which restraint systems need to be activated to provide optimal protection for occupants.
