What does the airbag control unit 95910-PI600 do?

The airbag control unit 95910-PI600 regulates the restraint system (SRS) of Hyundai. It processes the signals from the crash sensors, triggers airbags and seatbelt pretensioners in an accident, and ensures the system remains ready for operation at all times. After an accident it stores crash data and locks itself.
