The airbag control unit 98221SJ110 coordinates the restraint system (SRS) at Subaru. It evaluates the signals from the crash sensors, decides within milliseconds in an accident on triggering the airbags and seatbelt pretensioners, and monitors the system continuously. Detected faults are made visible via the airbag warning light.
