What is the function of the BRE7-57K30 airbag control unit?
The airbag control unit with part number BRE7-57K30 is the central control module for the occupant safety system (SRS) in Mazda 3 models of the BM and BN series. It processes signals from external crash sensors and is responsible for precisely deploying the airbags and seatbelt pretensioners at the right moment in the event of a collision.
As the brain of the passive safety system, this module continuously monitors all connected components, including the driver’s and passenger’s airbags, any knee airbags present, and the pyrotechnic seatbelt pretensioners.

How do you recognize a defect in the BRE7-57K30?
