The device simulates a permanently occupied passenger seat to the airbag control system. Thus, the passenger airbag will deploy in EVERY CASE during a crash, even if no one is sitting in the seat.
This module can also be installed after seat conversions, such as sports seats from Recaro, König, or Sparco that have no seat occupancy detection.
